Unpopular opinion maybe

I’m seeing posts against Betty for being rude to Veronica.

Veronica is literally going along with a plan that is like modern day slavery. And lied to her friends especially Betty who defended her at every turn.

And she doesn’t even seem sorry about it and only sorry she got caught. And then still continued to run for the school election as if she didn’t do anything.

I really liked Veronica’s character but she’s DEFINITELY IN THE WRONG this time.

And people even defending her are they even watching the show????

I think she can take a bit of rudeness when she’s making everyone on the southside homeless!!

They’ll obviously redeem her character since she’s part of the core four but what she did was absolutely wrong and she deserves the backlash she got for it. And not Betty and Josie and Ethel.

This tweet is a few months old but it really hit the nail on the head. Jughead is the protagonist this season, the one on the hero’s journey, the one going head to head with Hiram Lodge to save Riverdale. Not Archie. That’s wild!

I just don’t think they’ve shown the b*rchie friendship very well at all, it basically didn’t even exist in s1, so when they bang on about a “special bond” it’s just not believable and just feels random and forced? idk, man. I just don’t get it
