Someone commented on a post saying “bughead is very toxic” I asked ” Explain how” She said “honey, please don’t @ me, you’ll be blocked” I said “I just asked how”(she didn’t reply some said ” I see you have no explanation, you just hate bughead”) She said “I’m trying to write a fucking essay and you’re trying to start an argument to me bughead don’t seem like a good fit, they can never seem to have a good relationship and they really aren’t able to” (part1 part2 if you want)

see there you go. they’re already ruining their whole point. let me tell you how people these days do their reasoning. ‘’a relationship going through a tough time = THAT’S TOXIC’’. that’s it. usually also based in their existing dislike of the ship/love for a ‘competing’ ship.

doesn’t matter that real relationships go through ups and downs all the time. doesn’t matter that external forces are the things pushing the issues on the relationship. just call it toxic and scream it loud enough and lookie some people will follow suit.

toxic is a word that gets thrown around so often nowadays it’s losing its meaning to like ‘a couple who’s in a fight once in a while’ which is kinda insulting to people who went through real toxic relationships imo.

in conclusion to this long ass rant: just bc someone on the internet screams it’s toxic with some poor ass arguments doesn’t mean it is. and it sure as shit isn’t an applicable term for bh.

yes betty did that strip scene essentially for jughead….. but Betty being determined and having hair brained ideas has nothing to do with jughead or bughead in general … she literally went dark Betty ( I hate that phrase it makes me wanna die but bare with me ) in 1×03 before bughead was even a thing … she did that because she thought she was protecting Polly ,Veronica , Ethel and women in general .. but in fact she went way overboard .. so don’t you dare make Betty’s tendency to do stupid things for the ones she loves jugheads fault or use it to say bugheads toxic.

Betty is a complex character that has faults strengths and weaknesses and that is why we love her. Bughead is a loving strong and healthy relationship (even if it’s being tested rn) and that is why we love it.

what about jughead sullenly telling her betty and him broke up and then pulling this face told her it was time to make a move? he looks like he’s about to cry and then literally the next shot is of her leaning over to kiss him
