But on a serious note, there’s so much to adore in this scene. Even when being fun, flirty, and sexy, even when engaging in role play, for lack of a better term– they’re so intimate. The way his fingers skirt her waist, the way she holds on to his lapel so intimately one second and then is shoving him down the next, the way they were looking at each other, the intimacy of the ways his eyes focused on her chest for a good hot second, I mean, did I mention… Their eyes?!
I was prepared for this scene to be… anything. Including high-key troubling. Yet here we are. Like button so hard.
This was scene was fun, flirty, and sexy. I actually did not know how this would play or what they’d do here, but it felt like healthy sexual exploration between two people who trust each other completely and are comfortable being totally vulnerable with each other. Just another layer Jug and Betty were putting on display this episode.
