listen, i get that the toni hate is getting out of hand, but saying she didn’t take advantage of jughead is just plain ignorance
what about jughead sullenly telling her betty and him broke up and then pulling this face told her it was time to make a move? he looks like he’s about to cry and then literally the next shot is of her leaning over to kiss him
jughead: is told the girl he loves has been wanting to break up with him for weeks, his best friend is the one who breaks the news cruelly in front of half a dozen people, he’s beat to a pulp by a gang he’s joining to try and save the the town (including girl he loves and best friend), while distraught after all of this, the only friend he feels like he has left kisses him
